About Us
Prior to establishing his own computer repair company in 1996, Barry had been employed as an electronic and computer repair manager for both military and non-military organizations. His experience with computers began in 1973 when he left Wellsboro to join the Army. In 1998, Barry's wife, Anne, was brought into the business to help with its growing customer base. Anne completed her computer training and technical certifications at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. BHCC was run out of Hughes' home for several years until the construction of the service center was completed in 2001. As the company continued to grow, it became obvious that the BHCC family would have to continue to grow as well. Barry Hughes Computer Contracting solidified its standing as a family-run business when Barry, Jr. joined the business as a full time employee in 2010. Since then BHCC has continued to grow and thrive amongst its local community and loyal customers. Barry Hughes Computer Contracting is forever dedicated to offering its clients the professional services of a big company with over 50 years of combined experence, while providing the understanding and personality of a locally owned family-run business.
